Press Release

2022.09.20

QLM Logistics Solutions Ltd. and ALLANCE Ltd. consortium plan the development of a collaborative robot forklift system.

The consortium of QLM Logistics Solutions Ltd. and ALLANCE Ltd. received nearly 400 million HUF in non-refundable European Union support under the GINOP-PLUSZ Operational Program. The three-year research and development project aims to develop a collaborative robot forklift system to enhance the competitiveness of corporate logistics.

Under the call GINOP_PLUSZ-2.1.1-21 – Promotion of Corporate Research, Development, and Innovation Activities, the supported research and development project aims to create a new, innovative, automated, and self-driving goods handling and warehousing robot forklift system, which, with its custom-developed traffic management software and a teleoperation function, will revolutionise current market methods on an international level. The key novelty of the approach is to create a system that combines human-machine collaboration and the cooperation of various sizes and functions of material handling equipment. Organising the new type of goods handling forklifts into a system will enable increased efficiency, more competitive operation, and cost savings.

The consortium of QLM Logistics Solutions Ltd. and Allance Ltd. aims to create a complex system of high-lift forklifts and transport forklifts that operate together as an autonomous forklift system capable of adapting to the unique needs of the end user, handling the full spectrum of warehousing tasks, and participating in manufacturing supply processes.

The project will be realised over 36 months under the Széchenyi Plan Plus program, with a total cost of approximately 670 million HUF and 400 million HUF in non-refundable support provided by the Hungarian Government and the European Union.
